Due to the current disruption to the supply of birch plywood, On The Level will be switching to a new WBP Marine Grade Performance Ply.
The new material has been put through a series of stringent tests, one of which was to be installed in a real-world environment by an installer with extensive knowledge and previous experience of using OTL formers within bathroom projects.
Ross Anker Plumbing has been installing OTL formers for a number of years and was asked to provide his feedback when installing the OTL formers manufactured from the new plywood material on a current new build project.
You genuinely cannot tell the difference, the properties of the material and the installation of the new plywood material formers are exactly the same. Same great quality and same ease of installation. I would not hesitate to continue recommending OTL as I have always done.
