On The Level have been chosen by The Fragrance Group to manufacture and install 181 bespoke OTL Complete wet room floors with dual outlets into the Municipal Building Hotel. Phase one of six commences in the next few weeks.
The unique former created specifically for The Fragrance Group incorporates a SuperSlim Tile-In channel within the showering area, and a Square Grate Tile-In channel outside the showering area, underneath the sink.
With gradients running towards both channels away from the entrance to the bathroom, the hotel client can be completely confident that no water will escape the en-suite room onto the carpeted bedroom. The secondary channel also provides peace of mind that the entire room is fully waterproofed and there is sufficient drainage in case of any water overflowing from the sink or escaping the en-suite as a wet hotel guest leaves the shower.
With 26 variations, meticulous planning is needed over the six phases to ensure a smooth installation process. Choosing On The Level to install as well as manufacturer the wet room floors reduces associated risk for the client of multiple trades being involved with the installation.
When completed the Municipal Buildings, Liverpool will be converted from a beautiful iconic 1866 Grade II listed Government building into a luxury four-star hotel. Architects Falconer Chester Hall had the delicate task of restoring the 11,494 square metre, three floor building, and extending it to the back whilst maintaining its heritage.
On The Levels Managing Director, James Clark said
we are excited to have now started work on this project. We have worked closely with our client to understand their needs and overcome their challenges. After utilising our expert experience, and completing a successful sample room installation we were delighted to be awarded this order and we look forward to seeing the rooms in full use once the hotel opens its doors.
