Work started in 2020 to transform what was once Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall restaurant into seven unique beach lofts for the expanding Watergate Bay Hotel.
Appointed Cornish-based interior designer Matt Hulme at Dynargh Design created a brand-new, award winning, contemporary offering for the hotel, maximising the stunning sea views and beachside access.
The contemporary rooms feature our OTL SuperSlim Tile-In wet room floors, maximising space within the impressive bathrooms and enhancing the design by creating a seamless floor throughout. The wet rooms also make the room family and even dog friendly, making showering off from a day at the beach easy.
Our floors being made from responsibly sourced FSC Certified birch plywood also appealed to the client, as sustainability was an important factor in the design of the rooms, minimising the environmental impact within this beautiful, natural setting.
The beach lofts recently won the Best Interior Renovation category at the Boutique Hotelier Awards 2021, a proud moment for Dynargh Design and the hotel.
Everything about working with OTL has been a pleasure. From the initial enquiry to discuss the project, to the issue of technical information and continued support to the contractor on site and down to the installation of a truly unique and superior product.
